Health Surveillance and New Patient Registration Checks

Our practice nurses together with our healthcare assistants are able to offer a health screening service which includes checking blood pressure, urine, height, weight, lifestyle, exercise habits and family history in order to assess your general health and offer advice where necessary.

  • We request that all new patients participate in this offer and recommend a routine repeat every three years.

Diabetes Clinic

Patients with diabetes are seen by the nurse, ideally on a Tuesday or Thursday. However, patients with the condition should also be seen once a year for an annual review with the doctor, in conjunction with the nurse. Usually patients will require a double appointment with the practice nurse, so please inform the receptionist at the time of making your appointment.
